Collision avoidance for the urban environment
Rail Vision’s system for Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) is specially designed to address the challenges of urban environments. Based on electro-optic sensors combined with artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies, the system detects and classifies obstacles at a range of up to 200 meters in all weather and light conditions.
In case of danger within the predefined area of interest, the system generates real-time visual and acoustic alerts. In addition, the add-on Image-based Navigation feature helps operators overcome line-of-sight limitations resulting from urban topology, such as underground tunnels and low-signal areas.
