Analyzing Rail Infrastructure and Surroundings
Rail Vision’s ad-on Big Data Service enables customized analysis of railway infrastructure and surrounding ecosystems.
The Rail Vision system, mounted on the locomotive, collects data which is then evaluated and transferred to the Rail Vision cloud for further analysis and production of reports tailored to customer requests. Where required, the module issues infrastructure potential deficiency alerts.
Specific areas can be defined where the Rail Vision system carries out digital mapping (GIS mapping), allowing ongoing infrastructure inspection, environmental trend analysis and Image Based (autonomous) Navigation.
The created reports support predictive maintenance of the infrastructure, while enhancing railway safety, resource planning and quality assurance. At all stages – from recording to transmission, storage and analysis – data is secured to prevent leakage, breach, or loss.

Image Based Navigation
Rail Vision’s Image based Navigation uses landmarks and signals to maximize the precision of the train’s positioning and can operate in areas without GPS reception.
GIS mapping
Rail Vision’s system collects data from the train’s surrounding and uses geographic information (GIS) to map predefined marks. GIS reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations-helping operator to monitor their infrastructure.
